Our History and Vision

The PLACe was founded in 1995 and has grown into one of the largest music institutions of its kind in the entire desert southwest. The PLACe offers a broad assortment of instructional and ensemble opportunities for string, woodwind, brass, percussion, piano, and guitar players. Along with its unparalleled staff of professional musicians and experienced educators, and superb group of distinguished and award-winning student musicians, the PLACe is devoted to providing exceptional musical training and positive playing experiences to students of all ages and levels of proficiency.

Musician Enrichment Foundation (MEF)

Many PLACe students and faculty participant in concerts, solo competitions, ensembles,  and more, sponsored by the Musician Enrichment Foundation.
