Frankly, they are looking desperate, and more importantly mean. And nobody like mean people. If they really wanted to win, they would treat her as a non-factor in the race. She isn't on the top of the ticket, McCain is. All they are doing by attacking Palin is generating sympathy and making the idealist in the party wonder if they are really backing the good guys.
